Hi, my name is Jon. I started Clean Slate Tech because I wanted to help anyone and everyone get tech support from a general angle. With skills in tech, people and teaching I work to solve problems and help come up with plans. Rather than specialize in a single area, I’m comfortable with a wide variety of both hardware and software issues. No matter the technical knowledge of my clients I strive to boil down tech complexities into simple, actionable advice.

Tech (specifically digital privacy and security) has been my passion and I find it crazy how more often than not it can feel like our devices run us, not the other way around. I want to help equip people with tools that empower them to do what they need to do, be it getting over a barrier in digital communication, moving data between devices or reducing adware/malware infecting machines. Even helping more serious situations like data recovery, computer crashes and online or real life identity management.

Technology is constantly evolving. I will continue to keep up and always learn more so that my clients don’t have to.
